Hi, Nice to meet you.
I’m Thien Tran, a product designer who combines software engineering experience with human-centered design to solve complex workflow problems.
Currently studying Informatics at the University of Washington, I focus on design systems and the technical implementation challenges that make or break user experiences. My engineering background helps me navigate the constraints that turn good design concepts into functional products.
My work centers on building scalable design foundations rather than one-off solutions. Whether optimizing academic workflows or developing component systems, I prioritize clarity and systematic thinking that enables teams and products to grow efficiently.
Beyond design, I draw inspiration from the things I love: competitive gaming, custom mechanical keyboards, and even sewing my own clothes. Each of these hobbies has shaped the way I approach design with care and love.
Always happy to connect — feel free to reach out.
